
Jonathan W. Lartigue, PhD, MSwE, is an engineering process improvement expert and an agile coach with more than 15 years’ experience training, mentoring, and leading agile teams. He is a SAFe Practice Consultant and has successfully launched multiple Agile Release Trains and Solution Trains in both the United States and India.
Jonathan holds a doctorate in computer science and software engineering and a master’s degree in software engineering. Both his master’s thesis and doctoral dissertation focused on machine intelligence, collaborative and adversarial intelligent agents and their role in surrogate heuristic functions, multi-objective search, evolutionary computation, and swarm simulations.
Jonathan has more than 10 years’ experience in teaching at the university level, including as an assistant professor of software engineering. He has experience as a multi-disciplined engineer in the defense and aerospace industries, as a mobile app architect, and was among the first published mobile App developers in the world. He has developed two worldwide #1 selling iPhone and iPad Apps and more than a dozen other apps for both the public and private sector.
Jonathan has presented at multiple regional, national, and international conferences to speak about artificial intelligence, App development, design patterns, STEM, and other topics. Jonathan is active in volunteer work, especially in emergency response and disaster relief, and performs more than 150 hours of community service each year.
